Regal Georgian 9K Gold  & Garnet Necklace. This beautiful Georgian necklace has gorgeous genuine garnets that set in 9k solid gold. The necklace has five fine quality genuine garnets set in an ornate scroll work mounting. The necklace is hand crafted. The repousse work is very typical of the late georgian  era.  The combination of the wonderful segments of scroll work and rich red wine coloured garnets gives this outstanding necklace a very stately regal effect.  The necklace is delicate looking , however it is quite heavy and substantial . The clasp is a spring ring type clasp and is in good working order. The chain looks to be original to the necklace and tests 9K as does all the components of the necklace.  This is an absolute beauty that you can enjoy and treasure for many years to come.
