Victorian French 800 silver rose gold "Toi et moi" Betrothal ring. This wonderful Victorian ring is made of 800-900 silver & rose gold. This lovely ring is delicate and dates from the Art Nouveau era. It is a French silver betrothal ring, preceding the engagement ring and known in France as a " Toi et Moi" ring meaning " You and I" . This is signified by the two little daisy flowers. The back of the ring bears French hallmarks indicating a silver quality of between 800-900 parts per thousand pure silver, an accepted quality for France at the turn of the century. This ring is so special, and would make a wonderful gift for that special someone or a lovely addition to your own jewellery collection.
