Pierre Bex - Vintage Silver Tone Blue Enamel Rhinestone Brooch (VBR151)
Rarities Antique Jewelry
Pierre Bex - Vintage Silver Tone Blue Enamel Rhinestone Brooch. This exquisite brooch is crafted from a silver toned metal, featuring Art Deco Revival styling, enamel work, and rhinestones. The brooch is a geometric design (a characteristic of Art Deco jewelry) with navy and blue/lavender enamelling. Most Bex jewelry is not signed, but the style is unmistakable. The brooch has galleries of enamel, which are bordered by beautiful sparkling rhinestones. The back features a secure pin and lock mechanism. This Vintage Art Deco Revival pin would make a perfect gift for that special someone or addition to any jewelry collection.
History: The Pierre Bex jewelry factory made Art Deco jewelry from 1969 until the end of 1980. They used original Art Decxo period moulds and tools for an authentic look. The only difference being that Bex coated their jewelry with a layer of clear enamel resin to protect the rhinestones.
Pierre Bex designed stunning high quality Art Nouveau and Art Deco style jewellery. All handmade in France during 1969 until the end of the 1980s. Using original stampings dating back to the late 1800s.
